Ewell is the principal town of the London Borough of Epsom in South London, England. It lies on the lower slopes of the North Downs, and has the administrative headquarters of the borough. It is located 10.4 miles (16.7 km) south-south west of Charing Cross, and is one of the eleven metropolitan centres identified in the London Plan.
Sutton has a theatre, the largest library in the borough, several works of public art, four conservation areas and a park and green at either end of the high street.It is one of the southernmost boroughs of London.The borough of Sutton lies on the outer circle of Greater London to the south. It is a large and diverse borough, but is generally classified as part of the suburban commuter belt of London and as such is perhaps less multi-cultural than other boroughs, particularly the more central ones.
